IGNOU is an open university in India that provides distance learning certificates, degree and diploma courses. Due to Coronavirus pandemic previous year students got general promotion to next class. Therefore the next session July, 2020 started late upto November, 2020.
All students pursuing the course of Bachelor of Library and Information Technology (B.Lib.) session- 2020-21, their assessment pdf notification is released by the University. Last date of submitting the assessment is 31st March, 2021.
It seems that there may be open book examination again for this session students as well on the basis of assessments. There is total 9 assessments of all the subjects included in B.Lib. course. The assessment in virtually form will be provided upto the next month on B.Lib. lable of this site.

Note that the last date of submitting assessment for 2020 students is- 31 March, 2020 while for 2021 session students it's 30 September, 2021.
On completion of B.Lib. a candidate can appear for different posts under library of any institute. He can generally be librarian in any government college or institution. There is huge demand and less competition for librarians, therefore many students prefer this course for there alternate career option.
