Selection procedure - Selection will be based on marks gained in Mains MCQ plus descriptive test and an interview having ratio of 75:25 respectively weightage. Preliminary examination is only qualifying in nature, and the descriptive examination for descriptive in Mains is also qualifying in nature. In descriptive you will need only to type essay and letter.
Syllabus - For prelims you need to study only Reasoning, Mathematics and English for MCQ test of 100 marks and then in Mains 200 marks having Reasoning, Mathematics, English & General Knowledge. Look, only general knowledge is extra subject for mains. And just after mains you will need to appear for descriptive test that is already mention above.
Minus Marking - There is minus marking for both prelims and mains. You need to choose only correct option out of given there to be stay safe again minus marking. One fourth marks will be deducted if you choose wrong answer for any question. If you do not choose any option, you will neither get marks or deduct marks.

Number of Posts & Salary - There are different types of posts. Junior Secretariat Assistant is the first category in different departments of the institute. Pay Matrix & Emoluments - Pay Matrix Level-2 (19900-63200/-) with Basic Pay 19,900/- plus usual allowances as admissible as per Government of India Rules. Total emoluments at starting will be 27,936/- approx. per month at Bhopal.
Educational and Other Qualifications - Class VIIIth passed and possessing valid Driving License for both light and heavy motor vehicles.
Experience - 5 years experience in driving both light and heavy vehicles after obtaining License for heavy vehicles.

Weightage/relaxation - There is relaxation provision for recruitment of Junior Associates in SBI. But there is no relaxation for direct recruitment conducting by the Bank. There may be some seats reserved if the bank/PSU wants for same. Obviously there is weightage for those candidates who have completed apprenticeship because now they have knowledge of working procedures at banks.
Selection procedure - Selection procedure is same alike you appear for any other direct recruitment for banks. You need to qualify an online Computer Based Test (CBT) to qualify for apprenticeship.
Note: Admit card and exam centers will be allocated as in real examination.
IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT APPRENTICESHIP
Candidates going through an apprenticeship have to keep in mind that this is no permanent job. You work on contract basis for the duration of the bank or the Public Sector Undertaking has notified in the recruitment. They can throw you out of the contract any time they want.
You also cannot claim for permanent of job, or hike in your salaries. You only work their for learning purpose. After you get knowledge from there, you can use that reference in other recruitment. If, in future, the SBI/PSU releases a notification stating relaxation/weightage for candidates completed apprenticeship, will be getting benefits of it. Apprenticeship is some kind of internship, that you enroll for learning purpose only.
