Demand of Open Book examination was raised countrywide amid coronavirus pandemic. Makhanlal Chaturvedi University announced of general promotion and open book examination, this made a huge smile on the faces of students. Dream came true when result declared and all students passed without appearing in the examination.
There is a strong possibility that in the session 2020-21 there be Open Book Examination Again for those candidates who are pursuing DCA, PGDCA, MCA, MSc etc course.

Another updates is as on 30 December, 2020 the university has released a notification in compliance of Madhya Pradesh government's official order that now classes are to be opened again. For different courses specific date is allocated differently. But there is a restriction on the institutions to follow guidelines of coronavirus.
Due to such condition the university is recruiting a person on the post of Project Coordinator for a period of 3 months. The applicant must be post graduate in journalism and have five years work experience. Should be familiar with both Hindi and English languages and know operating MS Automation. Academic experienced will be given preference.
The recruitment is purely on contract basis and the last date for applying online is 31 December, 2020. Selection will be based on online interview conducted virtually. Consolidated payment is 25,000/- plus travelling allowances.
