Advertisement number 01/2021 for the recruitment for the posts of Fireman (Constable category) in Bhihar consists provisions are mentioned below:

Pay Level - Fireman Police Constable recruitment by Bihar government is Level-3 (INR 21,700-69,100) type job.

Eligibility for Fireman Police Constable - Candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility criteria before applying for these posts. 

• Candidates must be a citizen of India. Candidates from all states of India can apply for these posts.
• Candidates must have 12th pass / Intermediate education from any recognized Board of State / Indian education rules. 
• Maulvi Certificate issued by Madarsa of Bihar State or Shashtri (with english) certificate by Sanskrit Board or Aacharya (with English) Certificate or any such equivalent certificates recognized by Bihar Government are also valid.

Age Limit - Candidates can apply for this post ensuring their age is not crossing upper age limit. The age limit is mentioned category wise below:

•  Minimum age limit for all - 18 years
• Maximum Age for General - 25 years
•  Maximum Age for OBC/EBC (Male)- 27 years
• Maximum Age for OBC/EBC (Female)- 28 years
• Maximum age for SC/ST candidates- 30 years
• Age relaxation provision is as per rules in official notification.

Physical / Post Exam Standards- Candidates have to appear for physical test after getting qualified for offline written examination. Physical standards are mentioned below:

Selection Procedure - After you apply online the screening authority will filter forms. Eligible candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria will be intimated for Offline Examination based on OMR sheet examination. This examination will only be qualifying purpose. There will not any merit will be prepared on the basis of written examination. The question paper will be of 100 marks. The level of examination will be of 10th standard of Bihar Education Board. After written examination physical test will be organized and on the basis of High Jump, Shot Put & Running, marks will be allotted and merit will be prepared. 

Syllabus for examination - Examination will have many subjects like Hindi, English, Social Science, Science, Mathematics & General Studies. This will be from syllabus of Bihar Board Education up to level class 10th (Matriculation).

Cut off date of eligibility - Age limit, educational qualification all eligibility will be noted assuming date 01 August, 2020.

After being in Merit - After being in merit candidates will have to produce character certificate and medical certificate issued by official authorities.

Negative Marking - There is no negative marking. Right answer will be rewarded 1 Mark. There is maximum 100 marks.

Qualifying Marks - 30% marks is minimum for qualify this examination.
