IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT APPRENTICESHIP

Candidates going through an apprenticeship have to keep in mind that this is no permanent job. You work on contract basis for the duration of the bank or the Public Sector Undertaking has notified in the recruitment. They can throw you out of the contract any time they want.

You also cannot claim for permanent of job, or hike in your salaries. You only work their for learning purpose. After you get knowledge from there, you can use that reference in other recruitment. If, in future, the SBI/PSU releases a notification stating relaxation/weightage for candidates completed apprenticeship, will be getting benefits of it. Apprenticeship is some kind of internship, that you enroll for learning purpose only.

MY SUGGESTION WHETHER YOU SHOULD GO FOR APPRENTICESHIP OR NOT!

Absolutely a big Yes. Always prefer to get practical knowledge rather theoretical. Working in any company/institution and understanding the procedure of requirements will definitely give you boom in your career and chances of selection in any other jobs. Every college pass out should search for internship/apprenticeship. This enhances your skills and provides self confidence for tackling any kind of situation in your jobs field. You also get stipend that is also useful to continue your further learnings.
