Official language - If a candidate is wanting to appear for IBPS Clerk examination and get posting in Assam, he must be able to know the official language of Assam, means he should be conversant with Assamese. Same alike this the candidate need to be aware about official language of different states. Selection Procedure - There will be two phase examination. Phase-I (preliminary) that will have objective type test and the first exam to be eligible for next state. After qualifying Phase-I (preliminary) the candidates will have to appear for Phase-II (mains) examination. Mains examination will be decisive for merit list. Merit list will be prepared following the reservation rules of Government of India.
Preliminary & syllabus - Preliminary is mandatory consisting 3 sections English Language, Numerical Ability & Reasoning Ability. Each section has minimum qualifying marks and fixed duration for attempting during the examination. Candidates need to secure minimum marks in each sections to pass the examination. Separate cut off category-wise will be published on official website during result publication by the official website.
Mains & Allotment for jobs - After clearing preliminary examination, candidates will need to crack Mains examination same alike preliminary one. Based on the merit (marks obtained) following the reservation rules, merit list will be prepared and will be published on the website. Later provisional allotment will be given to selected candidates.
Syllabus for Mains - General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer, Quantitative Aptitude.
Minus Marking & Mode-Medium of Examination - Examination choice is bilingual, but English is mandatory for English section examination. There is a provision of minus marking, so stay away from guessing the questions. Both the phases will be conduction on Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode.
