        Using digital signature on your Gmail allows you to add some extra information about your business. You can use digital signature for authentication also. Steps of inserting/adding signature on Gmail - 

1. Open the Gmail dashboard. Click on "setting icon", then click on "see all settings" option just below the setting icon option as you click on that.

2. A new windows will be opened, now you have to stay on the "General" setting option that is opened by default after clicking on the "see all settings" option prior. Scroll down, you will find "Signature" option in mid of scrolling.

3. You can see the above picture. You get many options under "Signature" tab. The first one is "Create new" that means you can create different kinds of signatures under this creating tabs. As you click on create new option, a name box opens where you have to type the name of your signature under that label you are going to design a new signature.

4. Just right side of "Create new" option, you have to design your signature. You can insert any picture, of type any information that you want be inserted. You can type their your company's logo, address of company or any kind of information that your want to attach with you emails that you will send.

5. One of best options that will give you filter option of sending different signatures to different recipients. That is "Signature defaults". You need to choose different signatures for "new emails use" or "on reply or forwarding the mail".

6. You can choose one of any your signature templates to send for new emails use, or your can choose "No signature" if you do not want to attach any signature for such kind of mails. You can also choose these filters while replying or forwarding use. Thus way you can attach different signatures with different purpose of emails.
